My Multicultural Ancestry
I am one quarter Sicilian, one eigth Turkish, one eigth Dutch, some Cherokee Indian (not sure how much, because both parents have Cherokee blood), a little Scottish and Irish (again, I am not sure how much). I will write some information later. For now, check out my other sites.. http://donna-lombardo.weebly.com/ http://donnalombardo.weebly.com/
One day I will go to visit the places of my roots,
beginning with the island of Sicily where I have relatives I have made contact
with. Sicily is just a 3 hour flight from Egypt and is located in
the Mediterranean Sea. I have learned it had been inhabited over the
years by different conquering nations, before Italy claimed it. I love to learn about people and places all over the world. I get
lost in tales of other places and different ways of life. I love experiencing
the tastes of different kinds of foods. I am a product of six cultures myself.
I am above average height for a woman and muscularly built. I guess this is the result of being athletic,
which is good, because I have had to face some hard times in the last few years. I've needed to be strong.
I was born in a small southern town in the hills and valleys of East Tennessee. "How did someone with such a cultural mixture come from a small town in Tennessee?", you may ask. I would like to know that myself. I seem to be having a hard time finding information about some of my ancestrial backgrounds.
My life experiences have made me the person I am now. Someday I plan to write a
book about my "misadventures". I can honestly say, my life has been for the most part, anything but boring.
